I just received the following information about the annual Commerce Christmas Parade. Please read the following note for details. A note will be sent home about the parade in your child's folder on Monday!
Commerce Elementary and A.C. Williams will be walking and singing in the parade this year. Students can wear Santa Hats and should wear appropriate shoes/clothing. Line up is at the Farmer's Market at 6:45. The parade will begin at 7:00.
Parade Route: Bonham Street to Bois D' Arc, left on Bois D' Ark to Live Oak, left on Live Oak to Washington, left on Washington into the square, then right on Main Street and end across Park Street.
Families should be at the end of the parade route to collect their child. There will be teachers and administrators assisting with the parade and pick up.
We hope to see you there!

I really hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Break! We've had a great week back at school. Make sure to read this week's newsletter. Also, in your child's folder you will find a form for the Holiday Party. Please fill it out and return it to school by Friday, December 7th (there is a typo on the form that says the 6th... oops!). We are really excited about the party and hope you can help us out! After the party we will get to eat pizza! The $2.00 for pizza is also due next Friday. Thanks for everything! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

We've had a fantastic and very busy week! And we still have tomorrow :)! I wanted to go ahead and upload the newsletter for the week. I will also send a copy home in your child's folder tomorrow. Please remember that tomorrow is our Thanksgiving Lunch @ 10:55 AM in the CES Cafeteria. The children will wear their Native American costumes. They worked so hard on them and they turned out super cute! Costs for lunch are $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. You may want to arrive a few minutes early, sign in at the office, and pay for your meal in the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

We had a great time visiting the pumpkin patch on Halloween! The children enjoyed the hay ride, swinging on the tree swings, going through the maze, and feeding the animals! We even got to have a picnic before heading back to school! We all had so much fun!
