Friday Centers

Today the children enjoyed participating in our Friday centers. They got to create shapes with play doh using cookie cutters, color their own Chester Raccoon book, build with blocks, and explore  apps on the iPads. We had a great first week of kindergarten!

September Snack Calendar

Here is our snack calendar for September! Please remember  to send snack with your child on their designated day. Snacks should follow the foods of nutritional value listed in the student handbook. Please do not send candy, cookies, or cake. Cupcakes can be sent to school for your child's birthday. Thank you so much!!

First Week of School

We've had a fantastic first week of school! Take a look at our newsletter to see what we learned this week and what is coming up next week. Next Friday, September 6th, we will have our Grandparent's Day Lunch. Please see the form in your child's folder for more information. Fill the form out over the weekend and send it back to school on Tuesday. We look forward to seeing our student's grandparents. We have a special gift to give them on Friday!

Remember that Monday, September 2nd is a school holiday. School will resume at normal time on Tuesday!

I have really enjoyed getting to know your child this week! We have had a great time learning about each other. I'm looking forward to a SUPER year!

Have a great weekend!

First Day of Kindergarten

Wow!! We've had a SUPER day! I enjoyed getting to see everyone's smiling faces this morning! Today at school we learned each other's names, met our counselor Mrs. Miller, and visited the library and computer lab! We also experienced lunch in the cafeteria for the first time and got to play outside for recess! Everyone got their picture taken beside the tiger in the front of the school. We also drew a picture of ourselves during centers! Today was just the beginning of a fun year ahead! Thank you for sharing your child with me!
