November 21, 2013 News

I will be sending our newsletter home today in your child's folder. They will also have math homework to return. Please send their folder back to school with them tomorrow. I will keep their folder at school over the break.

During the weeks before our winter break, we will be learning about traditions around the world. I have added a wish list to the newsletter for items that we will use for many activities. If you would like to help out and donate an item, please send it to school with your child after the Thanksgiving break. We appreciate
your help!!

November 8, 2013 News

What a fantastic week we've had! We had a great time celebrating 50 days of learning on the 50th Day of School!! Please check out this week's newsletter.

ATTENTION FAMILIES: We need t-shirts for our Native American costumes. Please send an adult size white t-shirt (with no logos or writing on it) to school by Friday, November 15th. I will need to dye them before we make the costumes. If you buy a 3 or 5 pack and have no use for the extra shirts, you may donate them to our class. I will use them for the students that may not bring a shirt of their own. Thank you for all your help!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

The children look forward to snack each afternoon. If you need to switch your day please let me know so that I can make arrangements. Thanks for all that you do!

WOW!! We've had a very busy week! It was Red Ribbon Week and we had many students participate in the different daily dress!! I posted a few pictures on Duck Away From Drugs Day! I think that was the children's favorite day! I saw many of you on the square last night! I hope everyone had fun trick or treating! Today, we visited the Kadee Farm Pumpkin Patch! The children had so much fun! Some even fell asleep on the bus on the way back to school! They were tired!

We also had a busy week of learning about shapes, CVC words, and the letter Pp. I can't believe we are out of October and into November. The year is already passing by so fast! As always, please let me know if you have any questions or need to talk with me! I will be in contact with everyone after we wrap up the 2nd Six Weeks! If you need me before then please call or email! I'll be happy to talk with you whenever!

I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!
