Numbers, Letters, Sight Words... Oh My!

We had a great day back to school after the long holiday weekend! Everyone did a wonderful job and participated in our whole and small group activities! We even made a special surprise for our Grandparent's Day Lunch on Friday!

Here's a little bit of information about our daily routine: We structure our day where reading, literacy, and writing are our focuses for the morning and math, science, and social studies are our concentrations in the afternoon.

We had a great day and took several brain breaks! We also started our Heidi sight word songs! Don't be surprised if your kiddo comes home singing them! They are so catchy! :)

Today I sent home reading homework in your child's folder. Please let me know if you have any questions. We did not get to our story today, but we will read it and discuss the characters that are in the book tomorrow!

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend and had a productive day back! We certainly had a busy day full of learning!
